Kawthar Sarsour is the Director of Economic and Social Development in the Local Authorities Division of the Ministry of Social Equality, under the five-year Government Decision 550.

She leads and integrates initiatives in housing and planning, coordinating between local and national government, and implementation of special government decisions for Jisr el Zarka and mixed cities.

A resident of Kafr Qasim and a mother of four, Kawthar holds a Master’s degree in the Sociology of Education from the Hebrew University and is a graduate of the Ma’oz program for organizational leadership.
