Hani, born in Jerusalem in 1980, is a dedicated community leader with a Bachelor's degree in Education and Society.

He is the Director of the Abu Tor Community Council since 2018, overseeing a staff of ten. His initiatives have resulted in an increase of $150 million for services in the neighborhood.

Hani’s initiatives include construction of a new school, the first neighborhood park, and a soccer field, fulfilling a long-standing personal vision.

Hani previously managed the Abu Tor Youth Club and has worked to align state policies with community needs.
