Hila joined the Clinic’s staff in 2014 and served as the coordinator of the Urban Clinic for two years. She has a B.A. in Political Science and the “Amirim” humanities program for outstanding students and an M.A. in Geography with a specialization in Urban Planning from Hebrew University. Her dissertation examined the impact of governmental, municipal, and civil society organizations on placemaking interventions in Israel. She currently works as an Urban Planner at the leading Gavrieli-Segal firm, where she focuses on mapping and public spaces in urban renewal plans. As part of her activities at the Clinic, she was the editor for the documentation produced through “Make a Place,” a project in collaboration with the “Eden - The Jerusalem Economic Development Company,” was responsible for the “Creating Spaces: Placemaking in Israel,” and edited numerous articles on innovative intervention in public spaces in for Street Language, which is an online publication explores urban planning.
