Luisa Venancio is a part of the Urban 95 initiative, and has been working as a teaching assistant for the "Big Cities, Little Children" MA seminar at the Hebrew University. Luisa has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Brasilia, and a Specialization Degree in Architecture and Risk from the Paris-Belleville School of Architecture, in France. She has recently concluded the Glocal MA Program in International Development Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her MA thesis explored the impact of built environment education on youth through their own eyes, based on a project she led with teenage girls in East Jerusalem, in partnership with the Urban Clinic. She is currently in the initial stages of her PhD research, which focuses on the relationship between built environment education and place stewardship for disadvantaged youth.
