Yasmin is an architect who received her BA in architecture from the Technion. She is currently pursuing an MA in Urban and Regional Planning at Hebrew University.

She currently works at an architecture firm in Haira and deals with urban plans, real estate site plans, new neighborhood plans, and plans for the expansion of Arab communities. 

Yasmin believes that there is a need for planning experts in Arabs towns who can read and analyze plans, and promote and develop planning efforts in Arab townships that have and continue to suffer from an ongoing lack of planning. Solving planning issues in Arab townships demands practitioners understand Arab society and apply innovative and creative thinking to create a toolbox that can effect dynamic and significant change. Good planning practices will bring about change and can contribute to solutions while also working to overcome complex planning challenges and the social and physical complexities present in  Arab townships.
